FIND JESUS CHRIST

Who is Jesus?
Jesus is God's son.

Why did Jesus come to earth?
When God created humans he created them with the ability to choose between right and wrong. He did this because he loves us but wants us to be able to choose whether or not we will love him. Without this choicewe would simply be robots following his orders. Because we have this ability to choose, a problem arose; at differentpoints in our lives we make the wrong choices. Because God is perfect we are not allowed to come into his presence unlesswe too are perfect. Since God knew that at some point we would make the wrong choices and sin, he made a way for us tobe able to come into his presence. Before Jesus came to earth people needed to kill perfect animals as a sacrifice to God to takeaway their sins. Then God sent his son Jesus to earth as a baby. Christmas is the day we celebrate Christ's birth. Often gifts are given as a way of remembering God's gift of Jesus to us. While Jesus lived his life here on earth he never sinned. God allowedJesus to be the perfect sacrifice for us. Jesus died on a cross so that our sins could be forgiven. Not only did Jesusdie, he then defeated death by coming back to life, which is why we celebrate Easter. So the reason that Jesus came to earthis because God loved us very much and wants us to be with him forever.

What is Jesus saving me from?
Jesus can save you from Hell. Just like on earth where the governments have set up laws to tell us what is right and wrong, God has also set up laws. Just like on earth where there are consequences if you do the wrong thing, God also has consequences if you sin. The consequence for sin is hell. But God didn't stop there, he allowed Jesus to die as a way to save us from hell.

Why would a loving God send me to hell?
It's not that God wants to send any one of us to hell. He loves us and wants each of us to spend eternity with him. But in order for us to be able to make a choice there needs to be two options, Heaven & Hell. God doesn't send us to hell, but he does give us the choice to go there. So the question should be, "Why would I allow myself to go to hell?"

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
